Equine flu crisis strikes at British horse racing

Chrissy Muir caught up with local Lingfield Racecourse member, Ian Byford today to talk about the current state of affairs in the Horse Racing world which is greatly affected by the ban on racing at the present time.

The BHA have announced a managed return to racing imposing strict bio security measures. The decision to resume racing was taken in a “controlled, risk-managed manner” and supported by an industry veterinary committee said the British Horseracing Authority.
