A landlord who left tenants in “cold, damp and filthy conditions” at bedsits in Redhill has been convicted.
Reports say the house on Ladbroke Road had “crumbling plaster and a mouldy ceiling” and was without hot water or adequate fire exits.
The tenants were largely vulnerable people with limited housing options.
The landlord, Murtha Kehoe, has been fined almost £12,000.
