More than a hundred knives were handed in during a week long amnesty in Surrey.
Knife banks were located in several Surrey police stations including Reigate, giving knife carriers the chance to surrender them without fear of questions or prosecution. A total of 108 weapons were handed in from Monday 11th to Monday 18th March as part of Operation Sceptre.
Police neighbourhood teams have also been engaging with the community and talking to children in schools about knife crime.
