A West Sussex man has gone to prison after admitting attempting to meet a young girl for sexual purposes.

31 year old, Edward Senior, was sentenced to six years imprisonment at Lewes Crown Court last Thursday, having pleaded guilty at Crawley Magistrates Court in December.

Senior who was already on the sex offender register was arrested by Police officers in Horsham in December following information supplied by members of the public.

He will now be a registered sex offender for life
