East Surrey Hospital has put in place some visiting restrictions due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has confirmed that although its services are open to the public, it is temporarily restricting the number of people visiting patients on the wards. The Trust asks visitors to identify one person only to visit on behalf of the family. This person should not be feeling unwell and should be familiar with national advice for reducing the spread of Coronavirus. Children should not be brought to visit patients.
If there are exceptional circumstances, visitors are asked to discuss this with staff in charge of their loved ones’ care before attending.
