Members of the armed forces have been drafted in to drive response vehicles and take calls for South Central Ambulance Service

The British military has been brought in to help the ambulance service take care of the growing demand due to the current virus outbreak.

The service covering Sussex and Surrey will see the extra help provide 20 to 30 more ambulances a day.
