Reigate Grammar School helps supply PPE to local hospitals

Reigate Grammar School have been working hard in support of key workers and the NHS during the current coronavirus crisis.

They have so far sent more than 350 pairs of safety glasses, goggles & face shields, 4000 pairs of nitrile and latex gloves, 230 protective masks and 100 polythene aprons to East Surrey Hospital/Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and First Community Health and Care.

The staff of the Science and Art Department at the school helped to organise and prepare donations, and wished to thank all parents and friends who helped make contact. Thanks were also expressed to Loveworks.org.uk in Reigate, and staff in the Design Technology department who are working using their laser cutter to produce new face shields.

If other services feel that Reigate Grammar School can assist them, they invite them to make contact with the school or Reigate Grammar School Foundation.
