East Surrey Hospital has issued some important advice for those wishing to make donations. 

In a statement on its website, the Trust has issued information to help manage generous offers from the community.  Offers of food from individuals should be arranged with the Trust prior to visiting the site. Individuals are asked not to send in scrubs; any orders for new scrubs are handled centrally by the Trust’s procurement team to ensure they meet guidelines.  Although grateful, knitted hearts for patients and their families cannot be accepted by the hospital.
