West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service will support the South East Coast Ambulance service during the Coronavirus pandemic. 

This week four members of fire service staff will be deployed to provide logistical support. The team will collect PPE and other essential clinical supplies from the Ambulance Service’s logistics base near Tunbridge Wells, and distribute them to their three ambulance ‘make ready’ stations in West Sussex including one at Gatwick. 

The support will be on a rota basis without causing disruption to how the team functions.
