Three men have been imprisoned for robbing 12 care homes in the south east.

The burglars who broke into homes including one in Banstead ,stole items including jewellery and electronic goods. Some of the homes were empty, but in other cases with the victims being asleep upstairs. Two of the men were also jailed for conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary at a petrol station in Epsom two years ago.

Last Tuesday a total of 25 years imprisonment was given to the three men at Guildford Crown Court.
