Councils across Sussex and Surrey are encouraging residents to come up with creative ways to celebrate VE Day at home after original plans had to be cancelled to Coronavirus.

Tomorrow marks the 75th anniversary of the end of fighting in Europe at the end of World War 2.

Later in the day at 7pm, our Joe Exler presents the “Virtual Lockdown Quiz” and the public can tune in to BBC One to watch a musical celebration at 8pm.

The Queen will make an address at 9pm.
