Dame Penelope Keith has joined the Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance’s Coronavirus Emergency Appeal.

The actress, who is famous for starring roles in sitcoms ‘The Good Life’ and ‘To The Manor Born’ has been a long-time supporter of the service, which she said is facing an extreme fundraising challenge and needs urgent help.

The Air Ambulance launched an appeal in April to raise at least £535,000 to enable it to keep providing life-saving services and frontline support in the battle against Coronavirus.

The money will help buy key supplies such as surgical masks, ventilator filters and respirators.
