Crawley Borough Council’s COVID-19 Recovery Taskforce group met for the first time last week. 

The Executive group brings together senior business representatives from across the borough to evaluate the true impact of the crisis on the local economy, and to formulate an Economic Recovery Plan for the town. 

Crawley’s economy has been impacted significantly by the pandemic.  A recent Centre for Cities report estimated that up to 57% of employment in the town is at risk.
