A new rest area and wellbeing packs are being provided for East Surrey Hospital staff thanks to fundraising from the local community. 

Over £50,000 has been raised to support staff at the Hospital and the other services run by Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust as they respond to coronavirus. 

The SASH Charity staff welfare appeal has immediately funded a new de-stress room for all staff at the hospital complete with massage chairs.  SASH charity is also purchasing wellbeing packs and foot massagers for intensive care and respiratory ward staff.
