Surrey’s Community Recycling Centres will accept more types of waste from Monday.
Ten of the county’s recycling plants, including the one in Earlswood, reopened on 11 May for black bag and garden waste.
From 1 June, that will be extended to include wood, scrap metal, small electronics and white goods.
Social distancing measures will remain in place, with only one person from each car allowed to get out and chargeable waste will still not be accepted.
