Tandridge District Council has warned residents to be aware of fraudsters claiming to be from the NHS test and trace service.
If you are contacted by the NHS it should be by text, e-mail or phone, you would never be asked for private information
Contact tracers will ask for your full name and date of birth to confirm your identity, as well as your postcode.
A list of things to help you identify if you’ve been contacted by a genuine contact tracer is available on the NHS website.
