A local MP has questioned the Prime Minister over the future of the Government’s furlough programme.

Henry Smith revealed his feelings towards the furlough scheme as he felt more protection is needed for the air industries employees as the aviation sector slowly recovers from the current pandemic.

Smith’s intervention marks just the latest representations he has made to Government in support of the Crawley and the Gatwick economy.
