Cllr Martin Saunders of Horley Town Council has launched an appeal for old working laptops which may be stored away and sitting unused in a cupboard.
Martin is collecting these in order to refurbish them for donation to local schools so they can be used by families not able to afford their own equipment to get online. So far, 44 laptops have been generously donated.
Martin recently spoke with SUSY Radio’s Mark Tickner about the project:
If you have a working laptop which you don’t need any more, and it originally came with Windows 7, 8 or 10 please get in touch with Martin at martin.saunders@horleysurrey-tc.gov.uk.
