A takeaway table was literally taken away from ‘The Farmhouse Pub’ in Horley.

The pub on Ladbroke Road had the table with the words Friday & Saturday Night Takeaway painted on it while it was serving takeaways during lockdown.

But it went missing on Monday night, after a passer-by apparently mis-took the words as an instruction to remove it. The table was swiftly returned over night following a Facebook appeal.

‘The Farmhouse’ will open for business again this weekend as lockdown measures are eased.
