The boundaries of the Surrey Hills Area of outstanding Natural Beauty could be extended under a review by Natural England.

It comes after the neighbouring Suffolk Coast and Heaths area was extended. Natural England committed to review the boundary of Surrey Hills after the Suffolk Coast and Heath review was completed.

Tandridge District Council leader Tony Elias welcomed the decision which he said could provide greater protection in the area.
