A new scheme to help domestic abuse victims in Sussex can now support them with legal advice.
The Daisy Chain Project helps people with civil court protective injunctions against domestic abuse perpetrators. It has its own legal team of fully regulated barristers and solicitors who offer free legal support to men and women experiencing domestic abuse. Police can refer victims via the Daisy Chain Project app on mobile police devices.
The new service was funded by the emergency Covid-19 funding pot via the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner.
