The RSPCA Animal Centre at South Godstone will close in the Autumn.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is facing a deficit of £25,000,000 this year, and a predicted deficit of £47,000,000 over the next three years.
The South Godstone centre is one of four RSPCA sites set to close in the south. RSPCA South Godstone cares for neglected, abused and unwanted animals, and has successfully rehomed hundreds of pets over many years.
The animals will be taken to other RSPCA centres in the south east. The centre will remain open to the public for rehoming purposes until 30th September.
