Surrey’s oldest resident Ethel Cacerham, has celebrated turning 111 years old at her care home in Ash Vale.

Ethel, who is now the seventh oldest person in the UK had a tea party with other residents, and was later joined by the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Councillor Pat Tedder.

Ethel shared her secret on such a long life by saying. “she takes everything in her stride”.
