A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Crawley. 

The incident occured at a property in Oatlands on Friday evening.  A man in his 70s was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.  Andrew Spilling of Hawkesmoor Road has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of a Class B drug. 

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court today.
