Despite being 1-0 for most of the game thanks to a goal from Ashley Nadesan, Crawley Town came away with a 1-1 draw in their home game against Southend United on Saturday.

A late goal in the 84th minute by the visitors meant the Reds didn’t pick up all three points.

Despite the disappointing result, Defender Jordan Tunnicliffe says it’s still very early in the season.

It was a similar story for Redhill in their match against Ascot United. The Lobsters led the game 3-2 for 80 minutes before conceded two goals ten minutes before the final whistle, meaning they came away with a 4-3 loss.

Three Bridges went down 4-0 to VCD Athletic while it was better news for Horley Town who beat Eastbourne Town 2-3.
