Crawley has one of the lowest coronavirus care home death rates in West Sussex.

Figures show that since January, 18 people have died in care homes due to the disease with only Adur lower on 16.

It’s in contrast to Mid Sussex which has recorded 93 deaths in that setting due to Covid-19 since January.

Overall West Sussex has had 293 care home deaths due to coronavirus over the same period.
