The Crawley Day Surgery Unit team has moved back to Crawley Hospital. 

The team was redeployed to East Surrey Hospital in March to help with the Coronavirus effort.  Staff were sent to various areas including intensive care, theatres and the emergency department. The team had just a day and a half to clear the unit at Crawley Hospital taking only essential equipment to East Surrey. 

Since March, the theatres in the Crawley Day Surgery Unit have been rewired and parts of the unit have been upgraded.

The Ward Manager and Chief Executive of the Hospital Trust have paid tribute to the staff involved.
