New recruits at Surrey Fire and Rescue Service will be cycling over 500 miles indoors on Wednesday 16 December, in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.

The ten strong group will all be wearing Santa outfits and be cheered on with the temptation of getting home for mulled wine and minced pies.

The recruits will have completed their firefighter training and pass out on Sunday 20 December, just in time for Christmas.
