Advertising message boards have been touring Surrey’s popular parks reminding residents to follow lockdown rules. 

The vans tour the county’s popular locations focusing on areas which have recently seen a high number of visitors as Covid rates continue to rise. 

The Local Resilience Forum is using the vans to remind people they are only permitted to mix alone with one other member of another household outside, and only for exercise. 

Surrey now has one of the highest infection rates in the UK. The infection rate across the county increased by 46 % over the fortnight covering Christmas and New Year.
