A lost dog found wandering around on her own in Merstham will be reunited with her owner…..in Scotland! 

NHS Manager, Claire Hartshorn, was driving home from work last week when the dog ran out in front of her car.  After knocking on some doors with no luck, Claire took her to an out of hours vets in Cheam.  They scanned the microchip to find the lurcher is called Queenie and the owner lives in Scotland.  The owner was very emotional and overjoyed to receive the good news and said that Queenie had been missing for a month.  They now have the task of trying to collect her from Surrey. 

It’s still a mystery how Queenie came to be in Merstham.
