People entering the UK from abroad are facing tougher restrictions after new travel rules came into force yesterday.

Anyone returning to the country must test negative for the virus before departure and must self-isolate for up to ten days once they arrive.

It’s following on after travel corridors offering exemptions from certain areas were scrapped.
