Additional police officers have been deployed to the Croydon area following a series of incidents. 

A number of separate stabbings took place on Friday and Saturday in various parts of South London including Coulsdon and Croydon.  A 22 year old man was killed in a fatal stabbing in Wisbeach Road in Croydon on Friday evening.  Two men have been arrested.  Another of the many incidents occurred on Saturday night, when a man in his 20s was stabbed after a fight in Hadleigh Grove in Coulsdon; two men have been arrested in connection with that incident. 

08Officers from the Met Police’s Violent Crime Taskforce are working alongside South Area Command Unit officers. A Section 60 order is in place which will provide officers with additional search powers.
