Teachers hoping for a Covid vaccine were turned away from the Epsom Racecourse hub after a communication error. 

An email was sent to schools in Surrey on Friday afternoon saying teachers could get their jabs at the mass vaccination site.  The message failed to advise that they should only turn up if they have a pre-booked appointment.  The email was shared further and resulted in many being turned away because they didn’t have a booking. 

CSH Surrey announced on social media that the message was circulated in error by a third party.  CSH Surrey said people must not attend the Epsom Racecourse mass vaccination centre unless they have an appointment booked via the national system.
