A motorist who caused an accident, while almost four times the drink-drive limit, has pleaded guilty to failing to stop after a collision and driving over the limit.
Lincoln Simmons was driving on the A23 London Road in Crawley, on 2 December when he collided with another car.
The impact caused the car to mount the roundabout and crash through road signage. The driver – a 53-year-old woman – sustained significant bruising.
The 48-year-old from Crawley, was disqualified from driving for 32 months.
