A fire broke out at a hotel near Gatwick Airport on Friday afternoon.
Ten fire engines from West Sussex and Surrey were sent to the scene at the Ibis Hotel on London Road in Crawley. Aerial ladder platforms from Horsham and Leatherhead were in attendance along with the breathing apparatus support unit and a drone.
The building was safely evacuated and there were no reports of any injuries.
Relief fire crews worked through the night; all appliances had left the scene by 5.30 on Saturday afternoon.
Investigation work continues.
