Reigate & Banstead Council has appointed a design team to further develop plans of Merstham Recreation Ground. It comes following a public consultation of how best to spend £1.5 Million pounds available for the project.
The proposals which include a new pavilion, better play facilities for children, a community garden, wildlife areas, improved accessibility, and better parking.
The Council received over 650 responses to its survey from Merstham residents telling how they use the Rec at the moment, and what they would like to be included in the new-look park.
