Carlisle United beat Crawley in a 2-0 win at home.

Riley opened the scoring with a strike in the 17th minute then  Patrick doubled the hosts’ advantage with a 30-yard strike 12 minutes before half-time.

After the break Jack Powell fired a free-kick over the bar as Crawley tried to force themselves back into the game.

The result sees Crawley place 12th in the tables.
