Negotiations to secure the future of a GP surgery in Godstone, continue.
Over 7,000 patients registered at the Pond Tail Surgery have faced uncertainty since the sad, untimely death of the former single-handed contract holder, Dr Khan-Gilbert.
Surrey Heartlands Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) says it is involved in positive negotiations with the landlord of the Pond Tail Surgery. They hope to agree continued occupancy of the current building for a further five years. This will enable the Clinical Commissioning Group to undertake a competitive procurement process to secure a contract holder for the ongoing provision of GP services for Godstone patients in the current premises.
The CCG hopes to soon advise patients on the outcome of the negotiations.
