Anyone wanting to apply to vote by proxy in the local elections on 6th May, must do so by tomorrow’s deadline.
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, and Tandridge District Council have reminded residents who can’t get to a polling station on voting day, that they can get someone to vote for them. To vote by proxy, people need to submit a proxy vote application which must be received by 5 pm tomorrow. The deadline to apply for postal votes has now passed.
On 6th May, residents will be voting for who should represent them in the County, District, Parish, and Police and Crime Commissioner elections. There is also a referendum on the Caterham, Chaldon and Whyteleafe Neighbourhood Plan.
