Voters in Sussex and Surrey will be heading to the polls today to vote in Borough, District and County elections as well as voting for Police and Crime Commissioner.

Polling stations opened at 7am and will close at 10 o’clock tonight. They will be safe places for people to  vote.

The electoral commission is urging voters to wear masks at polling stations and to bring their own pen.

Results will be published tomorrow.
