Guernsey’s first flight to Gatwick since the beginning of the pandemic has operated.

The Aurigny service which has been grounded for over a year, took off at 7am on Monday.

A spokeswoman for the company said it was a “step forward towards normality”.

The aircraft had 33 on board. It will now run on Mondays and Fridays.
