Users of the Ranmore BMX track near Dorking are being invited to leave their views to help determine future plans for the site, by taking part in a short consultation.
The original track was built in 2003 by Mole Valley’s District Council and local Cycling Forum to provide a safe place for anyone with a mountain or BMX bike to practice.
Despite recent anti-social issues on the site, there has been a proposal by a local organisation that runs Mountain Biking courses at Belmont School. They want to take over responsibility for the site and invest under the name of Surrey Bike Park.
If everything goes ahead, there will be access to the site six days a week all year round, under an annual membership payment scheme or daily fee.
