CCTV Appeal following assault in Horley

A search is underway for two men after a serious assault in Horley.

A man was attacked while walking down Vicarage Road by two people who tripped him up and assaulted him before stealing his shoe. The victim was taken to hospital following the attach shortly after 8pm on April 14th.

Police have now released CCTV footage of two men they are looking for. The first is described as white, about 5’10” in height, aged 18 or 19. He was wearing a navy blue tracksuit and carrying a can of Stella Artois. The second man was white, about 5’9” with dark blonde hair. He may have a mole on his right cheek.

He was wearing a grey tracksuit with a green and cream cameo jacket with dark trims.

A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in identifying the men in this CCTV image in connection with this investigation.

“If you recognise who they are, or have any further information which could assist us with this investigation, please contact us. If you have any information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact us.”
