There have been some changes at local Borough and District Councils following the local elections earlier this month.
A deal has been reached over the running of Crawley Borough Council. The Labour Group with Independent member, Rory Fiveash, will run the Council as a Labour-Independent coalition of 18 councillors. No party was left with overall control after the elections with 18 Conservatives, 17 Labour and one Independent Councillor.
Similarly with no party in control of Tandridge District Council, there has been a change in administration. The new minority administration will be led by an Alliance of the Independents and the Oxed and Limpsfield Residents’ Group.
