One third of the way through the league season, in a weekend of sunshine and centuries South Nutfield’s Alex Smith makes 154, 18-year-old Luc Hutter from Headley Old Freemen’s smashes 128 not out from just 38 deliveries, and Horley’s George Hyde breaks the club batting record with 182 from 121 deliveries (29 4s and 3 6s) – but ends up on the losing side.

Meanwhile Newdigate Ninjas women make a record total and win two in a row.
