Sutton United gained their first point since promotion to League 2 after a goalless draw away to Salford City.  Crawley Town’s fixture against Harrogate Town was postponed due to a number of positive Covid results from the Harrogate side.

It was a disappointing start to the first league match of the season for many of our local teams.  Dorking Wanderers lost their National League South match 1-0 away to Concord Rangers.  There were losses too in the first Isthmian League fixtures for Horsham FC, Merstham, South Park and East Grinstead Town.  Three Bridges gained a point though, in their 2-2 draw at home to Ramsgate.

Horley Town made a dramatic return to the Combined Counties Premier Division with a 6-1 win away to Sheerwater FC.  Neighbours Redhill lost 2-0 to Walton and Hersham at Kiln Brow.
