Passengers at Gatwick airport faced delays yesterday morning after self-service passport gates were hit by faults for the second time in weeks.

Heathrow and Edinburgh were also affected.

The E-gates, which are operated by UK Border Force, faced technical issues which have been resolved.

E-gates also stopped working for several hours on 24 September following a systems failure.
