West Sussex County Council and West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service are urging smokers to quit smoking this October.

Stoptober has returned and has  launched its 10th mass quit attempt earlier this month.

Over the past 10 years, 46% of fire deaths within the county have been caused by smoking and yet 10% of adults remain smokers.
