Surrey’s Police Commissioner, Lisa Townsend, says she has experienced having her drink spiked.
In an interview with the Surrey Mirror Mrs Townsend told how it happened on a night out in Sheffield when she was around 20-years-old.
The elected commissioner described not remembering getting home and was later told by the club it happened in that it must have been a bad batch of vodka and they did not have those kind of people here.
Mrs Townsend has joined with police to call for anyone who’s had a drink spiked to come forward.
