Council considers renewing Public Space Protection Order

Crawley Borough Council is asking residents if it should renew the Public Space Protection Order which prohibits Car Cruising.

The order was introduced in March 2019 after  businesses and residents had been affected by vehicles gathering in large groups and drivers causing danger to pedestrians and other road users.

The behaviour associated with car cruising damaged private and public land , particularly in Manor Royal Business District and Tilgate Park.
